Amy Trinnaman provides thoughtful, personalized counseling for students and families as they navigate the college and boarding school search process. Her goals are to demystify and ease the stress of the application process, and to provide sound strategies to produce the best possible school outcome from an academic, social, financial, and extracurricular perspective.
With over ten years experience in college counseling and special education, including the role of dual enrollment coordinator for UCONN, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge to each client. As a former policy analyst, Amy’s approach to finding a great school fit is strategic and analytical, while also skillfully addressing the personal and individual needs of her clients.
The investment in a college education can be one of the greatest financial challenges facing a family. A focused, informed approach can ensure that the schools on a student’s list are a good financial match as well.
Amy holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the George Washington University, an undergraduate degree in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and is currently a candidate for the Independent Education Consultant Certificate from the University of California, Irvine.
